BEDSIDE INSTRUCTION

Individual (Bedside) Instruction is provided for any student whose involuntary absence from school is expected to extend at least two weeks in duration. As soon as medical evidence is presented that the absence will extend for at least two weeks, the Guidance Counselor will arrange appropriate instruction, usually beginning as soon as certified tutors can be employed and concluding upon the student's return to school. To the fullest extent possible, the instruction will be provided at hours convenient to the student and parent; but under no circumstances may instruction be provided when a parent or other authorized adult is not present.
