Scholarships

At HPHS, national, state and county scholarships are received and disseminated from the guidance office. Applications are filed in the office and a scholarship bulletin is available to all students. The bulletin is updated weekly. Seniors are strongly encouraged to visit the guidance office to receive the most updated bulletin or click on the link below. Seniors should consider applying for any scholarship for which they meet the criteria.

In February of the senior year, information regarding local scholarships becomes available. Students receive a "common application" from the guidance office on or around March 1st. This application is then completed by the deadline and returned to the guidance office. The scholarship committee meets in April to determine recipients. Scholarships are awarded at the Senior Scholarship Awards Program on June 14, 2005.

Please note: Several local scholarships are sent to the donor for recipient selection and require separate applications. This is clearly noted in the application that each senior receives from guidance.

Deadlines are important and must be strictly adhered to.
