Special Services

The Hanover Park Regional High School District is dedicated to providing the best secondary education possible for all its students regardless of their individual differences and unique learning styles. As Director of Special Services, it is my responsibility to promote the overall mission of the district that focuses on preparing all students to be capable and confident life-long learners. Students identified as eligible for special education and related services are given equal access to the quality education provided by the district. This is accomplished through the coordination of our multi-disciplinary child study team that works in collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and support staff to develop goals and implement specially designed instruction that maximizes academic success and fosters social and emotional development. I am committed to promoting a caring community of professionals that meets the diverse academic, emotional and social needs of all of our students in a respectful and positive environment.
