This site was created to provide a "one-stop shop" for resources related to IDEA and its implementing regulations, released on August 3, 2006. It is a "living" website and will change and grow as resources and information become available. When fully implemented, the site will provide searchable versions of IDEA and the regulations, access to cross-referenced content from other laws (e.g., the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), etc.), video clips on selected topics, topic briefs on selected regulations, links to OSEP's Technical Assistance and Dissemination (TA&D) Network and a Q&A Corner where you can submit questions, and a variety of other information sources.

Doing What WorksDoing What Works is a on-line resource center of the U.S. Department of Education that contains information about research-based educational practices. It contains the clearinghouse for all USDOE approved research-based practices in general and special education.
Iris CenterThe IRIS Center for Training Enhancements is a free online interactive resource center that translates research about the education of students with disabilities into practice. The materials cover a wide variety of evidence-based topics, including behavior, RTI, learning strategies, and progress monitoring.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and SupportsThe TA Center on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports has been established by the Office of Special Education Programs, US Department of Education to give schools capacity-building information and technical assistance for identifying, adapting, and sustaining effective school-wide disciplinary practices.

is a cutting-edge collection of scientifically based resources on instruction. Funded by the U.S. Departmen of Education, COI develops and identifies free resources that Regional Comprehensive Centers and state, district, and local educators can use in their pursuit of high quality instruction. The National Center on Response to InterventionThe National Center on Response to Intervention is housed at the American Institutes for Research and works in conjunction with researchers from Vanderbilt University and the University of Kansas. It is funded by the U.S Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The Center’s mission is to provide technical assistance to states and districts and build the capacity of states to assist districts in implementing proven models for RTI.
National Dissemination Center for Children with DisabilitiesNICHCY is a central source of information on disabilities in infants, toddlers, children, and youth. The website has easy-to-read information on IDEA, the law authorizing early intervention services and special education. State Resource Sheets help you connect with the disability agencies and organizations in your state. Hot Chalk is a website for educators that is sponsored by New Jersey Network and contains an array of information regarding New Jersey Schools and provides teachers with professional development information; in-state resources and a video blog that highlights current issues.
New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive EducationNJCIE is a 501(c)(c)nonprofit dedicated to the inclusion of students wtih disabilities in their neighborhood schools. NJCIE is the only statewide organization in New Jersey whose sole focus is inclusion. They provide training in inclusive research-based practices to educators; facilitate networking among higher education faculty; provide information and support to parents of children with disabilities; educate policy makers and form coalitions with other groups to act as a catalyst for change. NJCIE's ultimate mission is the meaningful education of all children within their public schools in preparation for future lives as independent as possible in the community.
What Works ClearinghouseWhat is this about? What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) was established as an initiative of the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences to be a trusted source of scientific evidence for what works in education. Teachers and other educators may feel overwhelmed by the amount of education research that is out there. WWC reviews the research and provides educators with what works in the classroom.
